Day 1 Warszawa
Meet your tour guide at 6:00 PM in the hotel lobby for dinner at hotel restaurant. |
 Day 2 Warszawa
Half-day tour of Warszawa and its marvelously reconstructed Old Town quarter. Visit Market Square, the Barbican, medieval defense walls, and the Jewish Ghetto Memorial dedicated to the thousands of lives taken by the Nazis. Visit the Monument of the 1944 Warszawa Uprising. Drive to the lush grounds of Lazienki Park and visit the Wilanow Palace. Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 3 Warszawa - Czestochowa
After breakfast, departure for Częstochowa via Niepokalanow. Afternoon sightseeing of Jasna Gora Monastery. Dinner and overnight in Częstochowa. |
Day 4 Bielsko Biala - Zakopane
After breakfast drive to Zakopane via Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. Continue for visit to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a Passion-Marian Sanctuary inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Dinner and overnight in Zakopane. |
Day 5 Zakopane
Experience the pure air and stunning views of Zakopane, high up in the Tatra Mountains. This resort town renowned for winter sports is mostly inhabited by authentic Highlanders, keepers of the town's charming wooden architecture and living folklore. After sightseeing, and cable ride to Gubalowka hill, free time. Dinner and folklore entertainment at a local restaurant. |
Day 6 Zakopane - Wieliczka - Lagiewniki - Kraków
Morning take off for the 700-year-old Wieliczka Salt Mine, famous for its crystalline caves and underground chapels adorned with statues sculptured from salt. After lunch we continue to Kraków via Łagiewniki. |
Day 7 Kraków
Morning sightseeing of this beautiful city includes: Market Square, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary's Church, home to Wit Stwosz's masterpiece altar.After lunch free time for your own exploration. Dinner at local restaurant. |
Day 8 Kraków - Warszawa
Morning departure for Warszawa via Auschwitz Martyrdom Museum, site of the dreadful Nazi death camp. Farewell dinner with folk show. |
Day 9 Warszawa
After breakfast, transfer to F. Chopin-Warszawa Airport for your homeward flight to America. |
