Day 1 Warszawa
Meet your tour guide at 6:00 PM in the hotel lobby for dinner at hotel restaurant. |
Day 2 Warszawa
Half-day tour of Warszawa and its marvelously reconstructed Old Town quarter. Visit Market Square, the Barbican, medieval defense walls, and the Jewish Ghetto Memorial dedicated to the thousands of lives taken by the Nazis. Visit the Monument of the 1944 Warszawa Uprising. Drive to the lush grounds of Lazienki Park and visit the Wilanow Palace. Lunch at local restaurant. Evening Chopin recital in one of the Palaces. |
Day 3 Warszawa - Czestochowa - Zakopane
After breakfast, departure for Zakopane with stop in Cz?stochowa and Jasna Gora Monastery. After sightseeing and lunch, the journey continues to Zakopane. Overnight in Zakopane. |
Day 4 Zakopane
Experience the pure air and stunning views of Zakopane, high up in the Tatra Mountains. This resort town renowned for winter sports is mostly inhabited by authentic Highlanders, keepers of the town's charming wooden architecture and living folklore. After sightseeing, and cable ride to Gubalowka hill, free time. Dinner and folklore entertainment at a local restaurant. |
Day 5 Zakopane - Krak�w
Raft trip down the Dunajec River. After lunch, departure for Kraków. Overnight in Kraków. |
 Day 6 Krak�w - Wieliczka - Krakow
Morning sightseeing of this beautiful city includes: Market Square, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary's Church, home to Wit Stwosz's masterpiece altar. In the afternoon, we take off for the 700-year-old Wieliczka Salt Mine, famous for its crystalline caves and underground chapels adorned with statues sculptured from salt. Dinner.
Day 7 Krakow - Aushwitz - Wadowice - Krakow
After breakfast, excursion to Auschwitz Martyrdom Museum, site of the dreadful Nazi death camp. Afternoon return to Kraków via Wadowice, the hometown of Pope John Paul II. Dinner and overnight in Kraków. |
Day 8 Krakow - Warszawa
Morning departure for Warszawa. Farewell dinner with folk show. |
Day 9 Warszawa
After breakfast the end of Orbis service. |
