Day 1 Warszawa
Meet with the Orbis guide and rest of group at 6pm in the lobby of the
Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw for welcome dinner with folk show at a local restaurant. |
Day 2 Warszawa
Highlights of your half-day tour include the beautiful Old Town quarter, Old Market Square, the Barbican and medieval defense walls. Continue to the Jewish Ghetto Memorial, dedicated to the thousands of lives taken by Nazis. Visit the Monument of the 1944 Warszawa Uprising. Then we drive along the Royal Route, important for its place in Polish history. Next stop is Lazienki Park with its evocative sculpture of Chopin surrounded by rose bushes. You will visit the Wilanow Palace, an ornate former residence of Polish kings. Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening Chopin recital in one of the Palaces. |
Day 3 Warszawa - Czestochowa - Aushwitz - Zakopane
Morning departure to Zakopane via Cz?stochowa. En route visit the Jasna G�ra monastery and shrine where the sacred portrait of the Black Madonna is venerated. Lunch in Cz?stochowa. In the afternoon we continue to the Auschwitz Martyrdom Museum, site of the dreadful Nazi death camp. After tour continue to Zakopane.

 Day 4 Zakopane - Krak�w
After breakfast, sightseeing of Zakopane and its charming wooden architecture. Breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains are yours after taking a cable car to the top of Mt. Gubalowka. Afternoon rafting trip down the Dunajec river. Dinner at a local restaurant . Overnight in Kraków. |
Day 5 Krak�w - Wieliczka - Krakow
Your morning city tour includes the fortified castle and cathedral resting atop Wawel Hill, the Old Town, St. Mary's Church and the Cloth Hall. Visit the 700- year-old Wieliczka Salt Mine, an unforgettable three miles of underground chambers, caves, chapels and statues all sculptured from salt. Dinner with folklore show at a local restaurant. |
Day 6 Krak�w - Warszawa
Departure for Warszawa. Lunch. The rest of the day is free for last-minute shopping or individual pursuits. |
Day 7 Warszawa
After breakfast the end of Orbis service. |
